dear july started because somewhere between snack requests, laundry piles, and becoming someone’s mom, i realized i really missed making things just because they made me happy. i wanted something that felt like me again — colourful, creative, a little unnecessary in the best possible way, and definitely not beige.

so i started playing with beads.

and then i kept playing.

now dear july is my tiny corner of the internet filled with colourful gemstones, freshwater pearls, gold details, and jewellery that doesn’t take itself too seriously. everything is designed and made by hand by me, usually with an iced coffee nearby and approximately 47 bead combinations spread across the table.

i’m a big believer that the things you wear should make you feel something. happier. cooler. more like yourself. like you put on the good outfit even though you’re technically just going to the grocery store.

dear july is for the girls who like colour, collect little treasures, romanticize the everyday, and have absolutely no interest in saving the cute stuff for a special occasion.

wear the necklace. use the good mug. order the fancy coffee.

life’s already serious enough. ♡
